Ahad Ha'am 80 - Villa in Tel Aviv

The building was built by architect Joseph Berlin in 1929.

The House of Ravnicki is a House with a Story: An Exceptional Personality Story: Yehoshua Hanna Ravnicki – A Writer and Literary Editor, a Publishing Man, a Cultural Man, A Story of a Unique and High-Quality Architect by His Own and Beyond – Joseph Berlin. A story of a mutual friendship between the two, thanks to which was built one of the last villas that can be seen today, located in the heart of Tel Aviv. The house is within the UNESCO White City Declaration Area.

Strips of silicate bricks and the finish of the facade include a unique entrance structure that combines two triangular pillars and a “crown” of the second-floor verandah. Throughout the element, the sharp angle is repeated, and it also appears in the carpeting of the front door. Two cypresses on the entrance reinforce the symmetrical array and accentuate the accent.

There is an interesting passage between the symmetrical ground floor and the second floor, where there is a breakage of building volumes. The front to the outside street features a ribbed central alcove, basement and ground floor. The window openings on the basement floor with an over-emphasis of the silicate heading and heavy “headstone”.

Noga carpentry in the reconstruction and production of blinds and wooden doors in the structure according to a documentation file.
